The laser developed for the Amplitude project by Ampliconyx OY is now installed at Femtonics in Hungary.
The team are busy making the final adjustments to the set up so that Femtonics can align the laser with the multi-modal microscope.
The unique properties of the Amplitude laser will enable the microscope to operate in the 3rd biological window and should allow us to image at higher resolution through thicker tissue than is currently possible with such systems.
Watch this space for the results of the imaging experiments conducted with this novel imaging system.
